Some furry love

Caught red pawed... Again. See, they really do love each other.

Minnie is hard to see because she is so tiny and black all over but she creeped up to Bella and curled right up under her front paws.

My foot had a Puma tattoo.

The puffy feet are becoming a daily thing, even when I'm at work sitting with my feet up all day.

Maybe wearing ankle Puma socks wasn't the best idea. Hence, my new fat/fluid roll at my ankles and if you look real close you can see the Puma symbol embedded on top of my foot.

I'm bringing sexy back.

Wrapup of weeks 31 and 32

My mornings: I still hate mornings. My hips and knees hurt constantly at night. It's like a calf cramp only in my hips.

My nights: I can't sleep more than an hour at a time.

How far along: 31-32 weeks

How big is baby: Baby He-Man is over 4 pounds and almost 18 inches.

Weight:
Starting weight: 130
Total weight gain: 31
This week: 161

How I’m changing: Still growing, which is a good thing.

What I miss: We've had warmer weather recently so really the only thing I am missing is sleep. I have a feeling I will be missing that for a long while.

Symptoms: Some heartburn. A little bit of breathlessness.

Cravings: I want sweets! Specifically Samoas girl scout cookies!!! I also ate an entire box of fruit roll ups.

Food Aversions: Nothing.

Highlights this week: My shower. It was amazing.

Maternity clothes: Yep. Couldn't live without them.

Stretch marks: I have them on both butt cheeks but none on my belly.

Sleep: I wish. That's all.

Movement: He is active in the mornings and late at night. That's when he is bouncing all over the place. He has his moments during the day of stretching and rolling his limbs. Currently, he is laying transverse with his feet in my left side of my ribs.

Gender: We're Team He-Man!

Labor signs: I have had a few days of spotting on the days when I am more active and not relaxing enough. I am forcing myself to stop trying to do everything and take it easy more. My OB wasn't too worried about it and said the cervix is a sensitive little thing that gets irritated easily.

Belly button: I thought I would have an outie by now, but the innie is still holding on.

What I am looking forward to: I am having another US tomorrow just as a last sneak peak before he is due. It's an elective US and I am excited to see how much he has grown.

Milestones: Down to single weeks left and getting the nursery set up more.

Remember when I was a good blogger?

Holy cow people. I am so sorry. I suck at blogging. I've been so tired lately. It's worse than the first tri fatigue. That was like mental fatigue where your mind wants to shut off for a nap.

This is like my entire body is fighting me in staying awake. The discomfort level is getting worse and I need to lay down just to make it through the day. So anyways, there's my half ass excuse on why I suck lately.

Also, I've been kinda busy lately...doing this... (FYI, opening presents is hard)

It's shower time!!!

All wrapped up! Weeks 28-30.

My mornings: I still hate mornings. I have never been more aware of my hips and knees before now.

My nights: I can't sleep more than an hour at a time. The pain in my hips is excrutiating sometimes. If I don't have to get up to pee, I have to walk around to get circulation back in my legs.

How far along: 28 - 30 weeks. Week 31 will be in a separate post.

How big is baby: Baby He-Man is over 3 pounds and over 16 inches.

Weight:
Starting weight: 130
Total weight gain: 29
This week: 159

How I’m changing: My goodness the belly is growing fast now.

What I miss: Warm weather and sleep.

Symptoms: Heartburn. More difficulty breathing. Lots of stomach movement.

Cravings: Nothing out of the ordinary right now.

Food Aversions: Nothing.

Highlights this week: DH got the chair rail installed and the dresser is coming along. I have given Dad and DH a deadline for getting it completed. It's going to look so pretty!

Maternity clothes: Yep. Couldn't live without them.

Stretch marks: I have them on both butt cheeks but none on my belly.

Sleep: I wish. That's all.

Movement: His movements have slowed down some. Less twitching and little jerking movements but a lot more big punches and feeling arms and legs moving all over.

Gender: We're Team He-Man!

Labor signs: I have had a few Braxton Hicks contractions this week. They're coming at the end of the day after I've been up moving around and haven't rested enough. I keep thinking I still have that 2nd Tri energy and stamina but am quickly realizing that is not true anymore.

Belly button: I thought I would have an outie by now, but the innie is still holding on.

What I am looking forward to: I am looking forward to my next appointment. I want to talk to the docs about labor and what to expect with hospital procedures.

Milestones: I am down to single digit weeks now!!!!

Must slow down.

That's what my feet said to me today. It's  been hard to admit when I need to take a break to catch my breath or pause to rest my back. But obviously, I'm going to have to listen to my body more.

Today I shopped/walked around/ran errands for about 5 hours and now my feet are swollen.

The following picture may not seem like a big deal to anyone who doesn't know me, but if you've ever seen my feet, you see my issue. My feet are ugly. My toes can pick up a mug and I could possibly tie my shoe with my toes. I'm pretty much a monkey. And my feet are as skinny as a toothpick. If I was a druggie, my needle spot would probably be my feet because I can see every single vein. A skeleton has more meat on the foot bone than I do.

So when I took my sock off and saw this... I mentally kicked myself for walking around too much.

Just FYI, the ankle is probably 2-3 larger than normal. True story-- I can't wear ankle bracelet things. I swear to you that they're too big for my chicken leg ankles. They fall down in my sock or shoe. People joke that a strong gust of wind could break my ankles. Thank baby Jesus I don't live in Tornado country.

It's time to put up my feet and order DH to rub them. But before that, he needs to bring me a bowl of ice cream. That helps swollen tootsies, right?

A picture is worth a thousand word post

I'm driving around trying to find stuff I need for the nursery and to complete my necessities for cloth diapering so I leave you with only a picture.

Boom! 30 WEEKS! How did this happen so fast?
