Tagging along to the zoo with my SIL and her kiddos was such a fun way to spend a morning and keep my mind away from these last few days of the 2WW.
It's the cutest little zoo about 20 minutes from our houses and they've got just the right amount of animals to visit but not get overwhelmed. The only thing missing was elephants! And tigers. But other than that, it's got a lot of furry things to visit.
This little guys doesn't look like the friendly stork you see in cartoons and pretty pictures. He looks like he's had a rough time, but hey, so have I recently, so we've got that in common.
He's called a Marabou Stork. We had a discussion about how he hasn't visited me so I came to see him instead. We had a good moment together.
The monkeys were adorable, as always.
And, Valerie the Giraffe, was beautiful, as you can see.
Even though she is giving me the stink face.
